Aiming Higher!

Today, the children were treated to a surprise visit by regular first team players Ikechi Anya and Joel Ekstrand from Watford FC. They were brought to school by Rob Clarke, one of our parents, who is also resposible for Watford's community football programmes.  Both players came to speak to the children about their own experiences of striving to achieve their goals and dedicating their lives to developing their footballing gifts and talents. Ikechi and Joel fielded a range of questions from the children including 'Who was your inspiration growing up?'  and 'What would you do if you weren't playing football?' We were all very impressed with the players' honest and interesting answers. We left with an important message to never give up on our dreams; to work hard to achieve our goals and make the most of our talents.
