Reception Admissions 2027/2028
The Reception Admission applications for September 2027 intake, will open on 2nd November 2026.
We have 60 places for admission into Reception each year and have one point of intake each September.
Our Reception places are for children who will become five years of age within the academic year in which they are in Reception.
If your child will turn 5 years of age between 1st September 2027 and 31st August 2028, then you will need to apply for a Reception place for your child between 2nd November 2026 and 15th January 2027.
Our Headteachers Mrs Mac Labhraí and Mrs Willis look forward to welcoming you to our wonderful Catholic Primary School at one of our Parent tours.
After the tours, there will be a brief talk and the opportunity to ask questions about our school and the application process.

If you wish to apply for a school place at Holy Rood Catholic Primary School then in addition to your online application to Hertfordshire County Council, we require the following Supplementary Information to be completed and returned to Miss Emma Chandler, Admissions Secretary in the school office between Monday 2nd November 2026 and Friday 15th January 2027.
